According to the seventh census data released in 2021, China's current rural population still accounts for 36.11%, and hundreds of millions of farmers constitute an important group that cannot be underestimated. Therefore, the integrated development of rural revitalization and ecological civilization construction is the basic premise of harmonious coexistence between man and nature, which is not only related to the overall situation of green development, but also related to the great cause of national rejuvenation. Promoting the construction of ecological civilization in rural areas is indispensable to the revitalization of rural areas and the building of a beautiful China.

Rural revitalization is a multi-faceted strategy that covers economic, political, cultural, ecological and organizational areas. The construction of rural ecological civilization is one of the core goals of the rural revitalization strategy, which is of great significance.
